One-Day Retreat with Lincoln Rhodes JDPSN

  • Chogye International Zen Center of New York 400 E 14th St Apt 2D New York, NY 10009 (map)

One-Day Retreat led by Lincoln Rhodes JDPSN.

Lincoln Rhodes, JDPSN, has been a student of Zen Master Seung Sahn since 1974 and received inka 1981. He helped found the Kwan Um School of Zen, several of its Zen Centers, and was the abbot of Providence Zen Center for many years. He is the guiding teacher of Indianapolis Zen Center. He lives in Providence, where he owns a construction firm.

A one-day retreat is a great way to deepen your practice. You are welcome to sit for part or all of the day. After nine periods of sitting and walking meditation, we will chant, have a circle talk, and share an informal meal served at 3pm (see full retreat schedule).

Questions? Learn more about retreats, see our FAQs, or email us as info@chogyezencenter.org.

We encourage all those who can to attend the retreat in person. For those who are unable, the retreat can be accessed via Zoom. If prompted for a passcode, use 108.
